TEP proposes plan to make owning electric vehicles easier and more affordable
- Earlier this month, Tucson Electric Power (TEP) proposed a plan to spend $10 million on electric-vehicle incentives and charging stations.
- The plan would provide $2 million worth of incentives for building new home charging stations, and $8 million worth of funding for public charging station infrastructure.
- TEP also proposed plans to issue a new incentive rate plan for customers to charge their electric vehicles at home during off-peak periods.
