AriSEIA’s mission is to develop and support policies which create opportunities to advance Arizona’s economy through solar energy. AriSEIA advocates for sustainable job creation in deployment of solar and complementary technologies, and collaborates with all stakeholders to encourage utilization of Arizona’s greatest natural resource: the sun.
Founded in 1997, AriSEIA is a non-profit 501(c)(6) trade organization representing local, national and international solar companies in Arizona. Our focus is on educating the public and key decision makers about solar and how to tap its benefits. We are also intensely focused on promoting professionalism within the solar industry and helping create and protect public policies that support the solar industry and its customers. AriSEIA is a state chapter of the Solar Energy Industries Association (SEIA), a national trade organization headquartered in Washington, D.C.
AriSEIA is funded by its members and donations, and is governed by a volunteer board of directors.AriSEIA's mission is to expand the use, development and deployment of solar energy technologies in an ethical manner in Arizona, and to establish Arizona as a leader in growing sustainable solar industries thereby helping provide a clean energy future for generations to come. Our desired outcome is a highly trusted and successful solar industry, making Arizona the best place in the world for people to go solar.

AriSEIA membership includes solar photovoltaic and solar thermal contractors, installers, manufacturers, distributors, consultants, engineers and designers, residential and commercial system owners and members of the public.
