Founded in 1991, AriSEIA is an Arizona nonprofit and 501(c)(6) trade association representing the solar, storage, and electrification industry, solar-friendly businesses, and others interested in advancing solar and complementary technologies, including wind, in the state of Arizona. Because of our focus on three primary charitable programs, AriSEIA has a 501(c)(3) fiscal sponsor, the Solar and Storage Industries Institute.

CHARITABLE PROGRAMS
AriSEIA has three primary charitable programs:
- Consumer Protection. We offer statewide trainings to the public and solar installers as to buying and selling residential rooftop solar best practices. We also work with solar customers that have solar or utility complaints. You can find more information about this program here.
- Energy Education. We work with decision makers, government staff, and the public to better understand how the grid works, how energy is procured and developed, and what factors impact affordability and reliability. This work also includes myth busting about renewable energy and economic impact and water usage studies, which can be found here.
- Regulatory Analysis. We provide regulatory expertise as to code/ordinance development, solar rate design, and other technical matters to the Arizona Corporation Commission and local governments. Examples of this work can be found here.
ADVOCACY PROGRAMS
AriSEIA advocates for pro-renewables policies at every level of government in the state of Arizona. Those programs include:
- Legislative. We run bills that advance renewables policies, such as the wider usage of SolarApp, and we fight against bad bills that will make it harder for Arizona to transition to clean energy.
- Salt River Project. We endorse candidates in the SRP election that have a demonstrated interest in transitioning the utility toward clean energy.
- Pro-Renewables Policies. We provide written and verbal comments that advance renewables and clean energy in front of County Supervisors, City Councils, the governor's office, and the Arizona Corporation Commission.
