Dear members, AriSEIA will be hosting a virtual discussion on the Interconnection of Distributed Generation Facilities on August 27, 2020 at 2:00 pm. This is a member only engagement designed to solicit input and discuss issues related to the utilities’ released Interconnection Manual filings. These Manuals will have a large impact on the day to day operations of solar installers, and we are seeking input from members on complications with interconnection that may be solved in the manuals. These interconnection rules establish consumer and utility rights and responsibilities, disconnection of Distributed Generation Facilities, safety requirements, standards for electric cooperatives, reporting requirements, and most importantly the requirement for utilities to implement and comply with a Commission-approved Interconnection Manual. Don’t miss out on this opportunity to have a meaningful discussion and provide input on this key issue. You can view the interconnection manuals released by TEP, UNS and APS by following the links below. Instructions for joining the meeting have been sent to AriSEIA members. If you are a member and did not receive the email, let us know at [email protected].
