DEC. 27 NEWS: SRP UPDATES

SRP released a new rate plan proposal:

• Last week, SRP released a proposal for a new rate plan. If approved, the changes will appear on bills beginning in May 2019.
• The proposed changes include three new price plans for rooftop solar customers.
• AriSEIA released a statement on the proposed plan. While we are encouraged that SRP has recognized the need to offer alternative rate plans that can support solar adoption, we are concerned the options proposed will not accomplish the goal of supporting widespread adoption of rooftop solar.
• Customers and stakeholders can submit comments and questions here, or attend any of the upcoming public meetings: Jan. 22, 6:30 – 9 p.m. Jan. 24, 6:30 – 9 p.m.
