Salt River Project reportedly approached by the Navajo Nation about NGS Purchase

• As you may remember, last month, two companies negotiating to take over the Navajo Generating Station (New York-based Avenue Capital and Chicago-based Middle River Power) decided to drop their bid for the plant citing “recent developments” in Arizona and California.
• It was reported on Twitter by Bloomberg Environment reporter Stephen Lee that Salt River Project has been approached by the Navajo Nation about potentially purchasing the power plant.
